Glenn T. Meader of Roomscapes Luxury Design Center Named Grand Prize Winner in Clarke Design Contest

Rockland, MA (June 2009): Glenn T. Meader, Director of Residential Design for Roomscapes Luxury Design Center - Home of Kitchen Concepts - was recently named a winner in the Clarke 2008 Design Contest. Roomscapes Luxury Design Center is a premier design/build firm specializing in creative space planning and superior craftsmanship for every room in the home. Clarke, the premier distributor of Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, organized the design contest to capture and create inspiration among the design community and homeowners alike.

Meader, a Hanover resident, won in the "Contemporary Kitchen" category, which he notes is a category of growing interest among homeowners. "For years, homeowners have sought our strengths at tailoring their spaces to meet today's lifestyle needs while maintaining the strong character and traditional styles of New England's architecture. Today, many people are reaching beyond these traditional styles and finding inspiratin in warm contemporary designs and particularly "transitional" styles, where traditional and contemporary elements blend."

Colony Rug launches newly redesigned website

Colony Rug recently relaunched their totally new and completely redesigned website: www.colonyrug.com. The redesigned site features several new sections that include: Exclusives, The Backyard, and Inside the Trade. The Exclusive section features products that are made exclusively for Colony Rug. The Backyard section features images of products that are currently in stock for immediate turnaround, and their new Inside the Trade section was created exclusively for Colony Rug's growing base of Trade professionals (not accessible for the general public) where Colony Rug will communicate directly about the arrival of new products, services and designer only prices.

Cameron M. Snyder of Roomscapes Luxury Design Center wins 2009 NKBA Design Competition

Hackettstown, N.J. (June 2009) - The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) is pleased to announce that Cameron M. Snyder, CKD of Roomscapes Luxury Design Center has been names a winner in the 2009 NKBA Design Competition.

Now in its 37th year and open only to NKBA members, the National NKBA Design Competition recognizes the talent of designers to plan safe, functional, and personalized spaces that incorporate imaginative design statements and aesthetically pleasing solutions. A panel of certified designers judged each project based on visual appeal, creativity, elements and principles of design, presentation, and safety and ergonomics. For 2009, the NKBA received a record number of entries--over 679 projects from across the United States and Canada. Winners were announced at the 2009 NKBA Design Competition Awards Ceremony live on the show floor of the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show and Conference (K/BIS) held in Atlanta in May.
